Canadian singer-songwriter and producer Mac DeMarco announced on Instagram that the follow-up to his 2015 mini-album of love songs Another One is finished. DeMarco has not released a full-length album since Salad Days in 2014. A video posted on the social media platform shows him popping a bottle of champagne with one of his new tracks playing in the background.

Also tagged in the post was DeMarco’s girlfriend Keira McNally and Ariel Pink collaborator Shags Chamberlain. No official word has been given on their involvement with the album and aside from the small clip of music in the background none of the music has been released just yet.

In the post, DeMacro also includes a touching tribute to the untimely death of Star War’s leading lady and activist Carrie Fisher. DeMarco has been a known fanatic of the Star Wars franchise and is such a fan he dressed as Darth Maul for Halloween and not only saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens during its opening weekend; in fact, he saw the film three times and made his own (spoof) review of the film for Stereogum.
