The Lineup for the Nos Alive Festival based in the beautiful Lisbon, Portugal has just been announced for next year with more artists to come soon. So far the list consists of The Weeknd, The Foo Fighters Depeche Mode, and The Kills but there is much more to be announced in the months leading up to the festival. Last year big names like Radiohead and M83 were major headliners, so we can only imagine what the creators have in store for the rest of the lineup this year. Tickets for the three day festival are on sale now through their website where you can choose from a range of options–including a three day pass or a camping pass for affordable prices. At the festival you can look forward to major art instillations, and grub that will make your taste buds water. They’ll have food for all individuals for whatever you’re feeling–including pizza, sushi, and vegeterian options. Online at the festival’s official site you can find a map of the festival-grounds along with useful lists, such as what you should and shouldn’t bring with you. But with all the culture, amidst the sunny mediterranean weather and gorgeous nearby landscapes, material items will be the least of your focus.
The Festival began in 2007 as the Oeiras Alive! Music and Arts Festival which bragged of big names like The Beastie Boys and Linkin Park. The Next year in 2008 is when the festival began to gain much more traction, when they got music legends Bob Dylan and Neil Young to headline. A couple years later in 2012 the festival attracted crowds of more than 55,000 people and is now known as one of the biggest festivals in Europe. Portuguese mobile company NOS is the festival’s main sponsor and has remained that way since the very beginning.
