Notorious for the hills, hipsters and innovative tech masters; Connan Mockasin had the citizens of The Golden City in a state of being stupefied last night. Currently on tour, Connan Mockasin performed at The Chapel in San Francisco with a few special guests appearances.
Hitting the stage in a call-and-response song, Mac Demarco, a Canadian singer, wowed the crowd. Demarco is best known for his solo career and describes his music as “Jizz Jazz”. Whatever that means, it is brilliant. Songs like, “My Kind of Woman”, “Ode to Viceroy” and “Chamber of Reflection” become the perfect playlist to drive around on a sunny day to.
Putting on quite the show, Demarco lifted Mockasin on his shoulders during an encore from the audience. Meanwhile, James Blake, a British singer and musician, jammed out the music while playing the keyboard.
