This election season has been a crazy one, and it’s quickly coming to an end as voting day is upon us. With that being said, there is no better time for Puscifer to release their new video for “The Arsonist.” The video depicts a grizzly battle against the large and bad-haired creature Trumpzilla.
The video opens at an arena in Arizona where band member Maynard James Keenan and professional fighter Rhonda Rousey plan to fight each other. After watching quick training montage, the two begin to battle it out but are shortly erupted by the evil Trumpzilla. Soon, Rousey and Keenan are joined by a powerful girl force who ultimately defeats the monster. The video seems to stand as a statement to encourage folks to stand against Trump– especially in the voting booths. Click below to watch the whole video in its awesomeness.
When asked about the clip, Keenan’s response couldn’t be more perfect. He said, “Sometimes you grab the Puscifer. Sometimes the Puscifer grabs you.”
In recent months the band has been killing the festival scene, performing at festivals across the scene like the Amnesia Rock Festival, Pinkpop, and Northside. Later this month, Puscifer will be playing the Aftershock and Voodoo festivals.
Their most recent album Money Shot was released late last year. Watch their video from “The Remedy,” one of their singles from the last album.
