Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are tabloid favorites and social icons. With this notion, the issues in their own lives become pop culture phenomenons, and the latest phenomenon has just taken place. Kanye West, embarking on a tour across America, had to leave a concert mid-show in New York City. Family issues were initially noted as the case.
As it turns out, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint by two men where she was staying in Paris. Upon hearing the news of his wife, Mr. West decided to end his set at The Meadows in New Tork City, disappointing fans but understandably in such circumstances. The two men allegedly entered the residence and threaten Kim at gunpoint before tying her up in the bathroom. Accounting for what was stolen, they took a vast amount of jewelry along with other items that reportedly accumulate to “several million euros.” Kanye, as he was leaving his own show, said “I’m sorry, there’s a family emergency, I have to stop the show.” Even if the fans attending were curious then, their curiosities may be dispelled now as an emergency was the case. Kim is now said to be upset and “shaken,” but otherwise okay in health terms. Even so, this might not be good news to fans of Kanye and the famous couple; however, the no refund policy the New York City venue has offered the fans of Kanye’s concert may not be great news for fans and concert-attendees alike.
