To celebrate their 30th anniversary, veteran New York hardcore group Sick of it All have announced they are set to release new EP. The band will premiere When The Smoke Clears on November 4th via Century Media.
When The Smoke Clears includes five brand new tracks, and will be packaged alongside a faux-leather coffee table book. The book includes rare photography and liner notes from Davey Havok (AFI), Dennis Lyxzén (Refused), Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music), Arthur Smilios (Gorilla Biscuits) and Matt Kelly (Dropkick Murphys). The band has yet to share the album’s tracklist.
The new EP marks Sick of it All’s first release since 2015’s two-song “Hardcore Equals Freedom” / “DNC” 7-inch. Sick of it All last released a full-length LP in 2014 (The Last Act of Defiance). The group has released 11 total studio albums since 1989.
Sick of it All have played a number of tour dates in the past year, including stops in Montreal and Toronto. They will play in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
