A communal and joyous atmosphere is coming to Chicago. Carly Rae Jepsen is bringing her “Day and Night Tour” to Chicago with support artist Sarah Kinsley. The concert is scheduled for May 21, 2027, at the Chicago Theatre.
Carly Rae Jepsen began her career on Canadian Idol in 2007, where she placed third, helping launch her independent recording career. She made her breakthrough in 2011 with her single, “Call Me Maybe,” selling over 18 million copies, topping global charts, becoming the best-selling song of 2012, and earning two Grammy Award nominations. Later in 2012, she released her album, Kiss, which charted in the top ten in the United States and Canada alongside her single “Good Time.”
Jepsen made her Broadway theatre stage debut playing Ella in Cinderella in 2014, and in 2016 performed in Grease: Live as Frenchy and voiced Odette in the animated film Leap!, broadening her career. Some of the most notable recognitions Jepsen has received are four Billboard Music Awards, three Juno Awards, two Teen Choice Awards, and an Allan Slaight and American Music Award. In 2025, she was ranked No. 75 on Billboard Top Women Artists of the 21st Century Chart.
The “Day and Night Tour” is in promotion of her newest album, Day and Night, which was released on Sept. 18, 2026, consisting of 24 tracks split evenly into two discs. Her top singles on the album, like “After All,” have over 5.2 million streams. Her tour includes support artists, Carol Ades and Sarah Kinsley, who will perform in specific locations. Her Chicago show on the tour will be accompanied by Alt-pop singer-songwriter Kinsley, who gained traction on TikTok in 2021 from her single “The King.” The Chicago show will be a night filled with pop passion!
