According to recent reports, Jay-Z will be headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Jay’s company, Roc Nation, produced every Halftime Show since 2020. Surprisingly, this is his first time headlining the event.
Stereogum reported on Jay’s decision as well, stating “there have been rumors about other possible Super Bowl artists like Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, but Jay-Z always loomed in the background of those stories. Now, multiple sources have reportedly told Puck News that Jay has selected himself for the 2027 Super Bowl.”
According to Puck, Jay has grossed more than $42 million in July across three sold out shows at Yankee Stadium. Last month he also grossed $12 million from a show in Paris. As we prepare for his appearance at the 2027 Superbowl, he continues to tour and celebrate the 30th anniversary Reasonable Doubt, originally released in 1996. In August, Jay-Z announced a documentary series that would be released in September. It’s now streaming on HBO. The series, titled JAŸ-Z IN 8, features Rick Rubin and Jay-Z collaborating on the production.
