Theatre Within has announced the performer lineup for its 46th Annual John Lennon Tribute, taking place this November at the Town Hall. Pop icon Cyndi Lauper will receive this year’s John Lennon Real Love Award and perform a special set of Lennon and Beatles classics.
“I’m honored to receive this year’s John Lennon Real Love Award,” said Lauper. “John inspired and challenged us all to work towards making the world a better place for everyone. His message of love continues to ripple through time, and I am grateful to help celebrate his life, Theatre Within, and the John Lennon Real Love Project.”
All proceeds from the tribute will benefit Theatre Within’s free songwriting, creative arts, and mindfulness workshops for public schools and families impacted by cancer.
