Irish band Fontaines D.C. will stop in Queens during their North American tour next year, following the release of “Tongue” from their upcoming album Dopamine Chamber.

Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan, Grian Chatten and Tom Coll formed Fontaines D.C. in 2014 in Dublin. Buzz around the band has steadily grown since then. Their debut album, Dogrel ,was listed as Album of the Year on Rough Trade’s website and voted Album of the Year by presenters on BBC Radio 6 Music. Their following record, A Hero’s Death, was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2021 Grammys. Their fourth album, Romance, also received two Grammy nominations in 2025.

Fontaines D.C. has garnered significant attention around their live performances as well, and went on to headline Reading Festival this past August. The band has a busy year lined up, with more shows planned in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe throughout 2027.
