What better way to have a show than by surprise? Fiddlehead played an extremely energetic pop-up at Alewife Station in Cambridge, Massachusetts. According to Stereogum, the band was completely surrounded by fans singing along and going crazy. 

According to Stereogum, Fiddlehead were recently on the bill for a show at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine. They opened their set with a guest appearance from Dinosaur Jr. Bassist, Lou Barlow. He performed an acoustic version of “True Hardcore” by Sebadoh.

Fiddlehead consists of vocalist Patrick Flyyn, drummer Shawn Costa, guitarists Alex Henery and Alex Down and bassist Nick Hinsch. Their first full-length album was released in 2018 after they signed with Run For Cover Records. “In June, they put out their latest release, the three song EP, Baby I’ll Change. Written in response to the sudden loss of Flynn’s mother, the EP which features the devastating lead-single of the same name, holds a deep emotional weight and solidifies Flynn’s reputation as one of hardcore’s most thoughtful and vulnerable lyricists.”
