Syd will perform at Brooklyn Paramount on December 1st. After releasing her album Beard, Syd embarked on a European tour over the summer. The Brooklyn date is one stop on her upcoming North American leg of the Beard tour.

Syd is best known for her affiliations with Tyler, The Creator’s Odd Future collective and for co-founding the R&B band The Internet. In 2017, she released the album Fin, her first solo project. Since then, she has released two more solo records in between releases for The Internet and other collaborations, such as co-writing for Beyoncé’s Grammy-award-winning song “Plastic Off the Sofa”. Syd released her third record on July 17th of this year. She described Beard as her coming-of-age album, exploring themes of self-acceptance and romance.
