Quavo has announced a new album QRÖMELIFE coming October 2 and released a new single “Backwards” on September 11 featuring T.I.
The new single “Backwards” is a collaboration between two Atlanta icons, T.I. and Quavo. Pharrell Williams executive-produced the album and the track, with a memorable hook and lyrical content about Atlanta’s nightlife.
The music video for “Backwards” was directed by Supo Supreme and produced by Daps. The music video displays stunning cinematography presenting Atlanta’s nightlife with dancers on different set designs and surreal visual effects. One of the most stunning visuals comes from T.I. and Quavo performing in front of the American flag with an Atlanta logo. This visual represents Atlanta’s deep-rooted hip-hop roots and pays tribute to the city.
The official full tracklist for QRÖMELIFE has not been revealed yet, but the album is anticipated to have 14 tracks. Out of the 14 tracks, the ones that are known are “Backwards,” the latest single, “HAAVIN,” the first single and “Trance (Walk It Down).”
QRÖMELIFE will be Quavo’s third solo studio album. “Trance (Walk It Down)” already made an impression on music critics online and “HAAVIN” was presented on Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2027 Men’s Show in Paris. QRÖMELIFE represents longevity and relevancy for Quavo in his 18-year career as a music artist, showing his credibility and identity through his music.
