Synth-pop group Cut Copy have announced a North American DJ tour, their first in ten years. Following the release of their seventh studio album Moments, the group has announced these latest tour dates just weeks ahead of the album’s first anniversary. The tour will see the Australian natives touring across the U.S. and Canada this coming November, with tickets on sale now.

The tour opens with a November 3rd showing in Vancouver before hitting the States the next day with a Seattle showing. The tour will last for a total ten shows, ending with a November 15th stop in Los Angeles. The group also shared a surprise mix ahead of the tour. “We’re gearing for some DJ dates in North America,” said Dan Whitford. “So I decided to put together a quick mix of recent fave tunes I’ve been listening to and playing out to get into the mood for some fun parties coming up. We’re gonna play a bunch of cities which we missed on our last tour so it’ll be exciting to get back!”

“We spent the first half of this year playing live shows off the back of our latest album,” Whitford continued. “And now we’re really excited to announce we’re coming back to the States and Canada to DJ some select club dates. It’ll be a great opportunity to hear some music we’ve been vibing on and also some unreleased mixes and Cut Copy stuff from the vault. We can’t wait to see everyone – these should be some fun parties!”

Steven Taylor: Hello, I'm Steven! I'm a graduate of Seton Hall University. I majored in journalism, with a minor in Public Relations. I've always had a passion for the arts and creative fields. Writing especially is an area I've always found myself gravitating towards, between assignments in class, working for the school newspaper or just writing in my spare time. I love providing and hearing new perspectives. In addition to my studies and work in writing, I work part-time at after-school and summer programs for my local elementary school. I've been a part of these programs since I was in high school, and I've even been assigned to work one-to-one with children with special needs. I like to think that if I'm able to communicate well with children in the 2nd grade, then I can communicate well with most adults too!
