Everlast, Andy Frasco, Amigo the Devil and DJ Muggs Join Forces on New Single “Losing Man’s Game”

Whatever’s happening is inevitable and this too shall pass, these are two mantras grammy-winning Irish-American rapper, singer and songwriter Everlast keeps close. The philosophy comes into focus on Embers to Ashes, his first album in eight years. Shaped by a decade that saw his Los Angeles home burn down in the 2018 Woolsey fire, the pandemic, a divorce and more. Produced by Yelawolf, mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, and with cover art by award-winning Tristan Eaton, Embers to Ashes is due out August 28 on Everlast’s own Martyr Inc Records, in partnership with Thirty Tigers and Regime Music Group.

His recently released  new single and music video for ‘Losing Man’s Game’ The track is a downtempo guitar ballad about losing it all. Director Ryen McPherson the track is accompanied by a music video features an intergenerational cast of Amigo the Devil, Andy Frasco and DJ Muggs (Cypress Hill). The cinematic carnage at the end of Luca Guadagnino’s Suspiria was the inspiration and, has always resonated with McPherson not just the visuals, but Thom Yorke’s score.

“…the album is a collection of songs that revolve around my last decade, not necessarily autobiographical but ‘inspired by’ the chaos, losses and a few wins,” said Everlast. “There’s a freedom in being broken. Go all in or go home. Losing man’s game.”
