Photo Review: Amonklok Tour – Amon Amarth and Dethklok at Brooklyn Paramount

The Amonklok Tour is a community. Amon Amarth gives everything to their fans every time they step out onto the stage. The crowd was surfing, moshing, rowing and headbanging from start to finish. The band’s luscious locks were sweaty and messed up by the end of their set, and so was everyone else in the crowd. The energy did not stop for a second. The band played as one and fed off of each other with their theatrical elements. Johan Hegg made his exit as he drank out of his horn and no one wanted the set to be over.

Dethklok came on stage in their silhouette with the animated show Metalocalypse playing in the background. With some funny moments thrown in to this epic rock set, seeing this crowd was something else. Seeing a show that you have loved for years get played with a community of fans that have been there with you from the beginning is truly something special. This band shows that you do not need to be moving around stage and showing your face to absolutely rock out.
