David Byrne At The Santa Barbara Bowl On April 14th

Goldenvoice has announced its annual lineup of Coachella sideshows, “Goldenvoice Presents April,” that have festival artists performing at various more intimate venues throughout Southern California in the days surrounding both weekends. David Byrne is set to perform at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Tuesday, April 14th.

David Byrne has announced a new slate of 2026 North American tour dates coming in support of his recent album Who Is the Sky? After two performances at Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, Byrne’s 2026 North American tour will formally commence with a pair of shows in Vancouver on April 4th and 5th, followed by two concerts in Portland. Byrne will then make his return to Coachella, followed by headlining gigs in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Houston, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Cleveland, Nashville, Durham, Virginia Beach, and Bridgeport following. The North American leg ends with a pair of concerts in Baltimore on May 16th and 17th, after which Byrne will head to Europe for another run of shows.

Byrne’s current approach to performing is not what one might expect at a typical rock concert. The Who Is the Sky? tour pulls from elements of theater, dance and visual art, and includes a great deal of choreography with Byrne’s bandmates.

Byrne has kept busy throughout 2025, offering his new LP Who Is the Sky? in September, launching a massive North American tour in fall, releasing collaborations with Hayley Williams, Miley Cyrus, and Brian Eno. He also shared a new 32-track playlist of songs for “people who hate Christmas music.”

Conny Chavez: I listen to all sorts of genres, but mostly rock. When I am not writing or managing social media, I am most likely playing video games.
