

American rock group, The Maine, formed in Tempe, Arizona, goes on the road and takes its show to San Francisco. The band was formed in high school by the bassist Garrett Nickelsen and drummer Patrick Kirch and would later go on to add Jose O’Callaghan as their lead singer. The group would find their footing utilizing MySpace to reach fans, very fitting of the late 2000s.
In 2008, The Maine went on to release their debut album, “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop,” in 2008. Since then the group has released nine studio albums, with their latest, “dyed (2008 – 2023),” in 2023. Recently, the band has announced that they will release their newest album, “Joy Next Door” on April 26th, 2026.
Their music can be described as a blend of the genres folk, indie rock, and country.
They will be traveling all across the United States on their “I Love You But… I Chose The Maine” tour.
For nearly two decades the band has created music and built their fan base and now are making their stop in San Francisco.
