Taking over the shoreline amphitheater this summer is gothic rock band Evanescence. Founded in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1994, Evanescence has cemented itself in this genre that works to combine sounds of rock and alternative but is not limited to those genres.
Released in 2003, their hit song “Bring Me to Life” led the band to mainstream commercial success, earning a triple platinum status, and even earning six GRAMMY® nominations and taking home two awards in 2004. Despite this first headlight, the band continued creating music and growing a strong fan base.
The alternative rock group ventures on their world tour this summer. This is a part of their 2026 World Tour which will then be followed by the European leg later in the year.
Amy Lee has confirmed that the group will be releasing a new album in 2026.
For over three decades the band has continued creating and making music. Following their departure from their record label in 2014, the band has continued on as independent artists, with their newest album confirmed by lead singer Amy Lee to release in 2026.
In support, Spiritbox and special guest Nova Twins will also perform at the Shoreline Amphitheater, helping to elevate the crowd’s energy.
