Happy Birthday Bright Eyes!

Celebrate the 20-year anniversary of Bright Eyes’ first two albums at Forest Hills Stadium. In 2005, Bright Eyes released I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning and Digital Ash in a Digital Urn in January of that year. The standout track from I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning was “First Day of My Life,” a song hailed for its quiet sincerity and for capturing a bright hopefulness that still rings true today. The music video featured real couples in an unfiltered, documentary-style setup reacting live to the song and earned the group GLAAD Media Award recognition.

Bright Eyes will be supported by indie rockers Built to Spill. The band, formed in 1992, features lead guitarist and vocalist Doug Martsch and a revolving cast of musicians. Hear music from their 2022 album When the Wind Forgets Your Name live!

The concert will celebrate both albums, as Bright Eyes will be playing each in their entirety. This is a can’t-miss event, with Bright Eyes only playing three of these celebratory concerts, so don’t miss the party! June 6th at Forest Hills Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
