English singer, songwriter, and actor Lily Allen is bringing the new album West End Girl to the stage. Allen might have started with videos on Myspace, but her debut 2006 album Alright, Still reached #2 on the UK Albums Chart and earned her a Grammy nomination. By July of that year, “Smile,” her debut single from the album, reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart and was certified double platinum.

She continued to build a unique style that fans and critics alike adored, pairing bright melodic pop beats with honest, vulnerable lyrics that held nothing back. Some of her most iconic songs like “The Fear,” “Not Fair,” and “Trigger Bang” highlight Allen’s ability to make listeners feel seen. From heartbreak and personal growth to calling out injustice in the music industry, she has never been afraid to share her feelings.

Her latest album is no different. West End Girl continues this trend as it details the breakdown of her marriage and her debut on the West End stage, for which the album was named. This self-reflective album was called by Allen “an act of desperation,” taking only 10 days to record.

Sing your heart out with Lily Allen classics like “Fuck You” and find new favorites from West End Girl on April 14th at Radio City Music Hall.
