The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is bringing its rock aesthetic and pyrotechnic flair to New York this Christmas. The group, formed in 1996 by producer, composer, and lyricist Paul O’Neill, is known for their live performances. Holiday performances are the bread and butter of this group, finding their niche with the debut album Christmas Eve and Other Stories in 1996. “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” was one of the most successful singles from the album, reaching triple platinum status. They continued to expand the holiday theme with two more albums: The Christmas Attic (1998) and The Lost Christmas Eve (2004).

Their holiday operas are legendary for blending heavy metal, high-energy performances with moving stories. The orchestra is bringing back a fan favorite, The Ghost of Christmas. The 1999 story was originally made for TV and later adapted from a narrative musical film to a live narrative holiday performance.

Join the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in the story of a runaway teen who finds her way home with the help of the ghost of Christmas past. Hear classic songs like “O Come All Ye Faithful / O Holy Night” and the orchestra’s own, such as “Good King Joy,” like never before at UBS Center in Belmont, New York, on December 15th at 8:00 p.m.
