Black Rebel Motorcycle Club rolled into The Wiltern last Thursday and turned the room into a haze of smoke, distortion and dark grooves. Peter Hayes and Robert Levon Been stayed buried in the shadows, letting the music do all the talking while Leah Shapiro’s drums kept everything driving forward with a steady pulse. It was the kind of night that reminded everyone how good it feels to get lost in a loud rock show.
