Tame Impala is set to release his highly anticipated fifth studio album, Deadbeat, on October 16th – exactly one month from today. The release will be followed by the Deadbeat Tour, which kicks off October 27th, and makes its slow rush to Austin’s Moody Center on November 6th, 2025.
The album features already released singles such as “Loser” and “End of Summer.” Serving as a long-awaited follow-up album to 2020’s, The Slow Rush. Marking a new chapter in his career, Deadbeat is the first album created while embracing fatherhood– with his daughter, Paige, appearing on the cover.
The Deadbeat Tour promises to be one of Tame Impala’s most immersive live experiences to date, blending his unique psych-rock soundscapes and techno-driven energy. Fans in Austin can expect a full-scale production at the Moody Center, where Parker’s hypnotic light shows and kaleidoscopic stage design will bring the new album, along with fan favorites, to life.
While fans await the arrival of Deadbeat, they can look back on the 10-year anniversary of Currents, the groundbreaking 2015 album that cemented Tame Impala’s place in modern rock with hits like “The Less I Know the Better” and “Let It Happen.”
