Lollapalooza 2025 kicked off in the Windy City on July 31st, 2025. The lineup for the weekend has something for everyone each day. Whether you want to rock out, cry or dance till you can’t anymore. It is also a year where history was made, with Luke Combs being the first ever country music singer to headline the festival. He took the Budlight Stage at 8:30 and showed that Lollapalooza has room for country music. Day 1 was full of surprises, including Gracie Abrams bringing out Robyn for a duet of “Dancing On My Own.” Setting up the surprise, saying it is one of the best songs ever written, and she sang it at Lolla just three years ago when the crowd and stage looked very different. Alex Warren brought out Gigi Perez, two bright stars who are making their mark on the industry at such a young age. Finally, Luke Combs brought out Alex Warren where they did a duet of Alex’s hit “Ordinary.”
