Waves has just announced a new album, Spun, which will be out on June 6th via Ghost Ramp. According to Brooklyn Vegan, full details have yet to be announced, but we do know a single of theirs from the album, Goner, was produced by Travis Barker. In support of their album, the group has also announced a North American summer tour in which they’ll be accompanied by Beach Goons and Chokecherry. With Beach Goons being billed on two of their shows, Chokecherry playing for most of the first half, and Death Lens also making an appearance at some of the earlier shows. The tour is set to take off on June 24th in Santa Cruz at The Atrium. The last show of the tour will also finish in California, with the band playing at The Fonda on July 25th. The New York City show of the tour will be in Brooklyn at Warsaw on July 11th. Tickets to the show went on sale this Friday.
