Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson will be heading out on his first solo North American tour in nearly 30 years. The last time he toured as a solo artist was in 1997 – two years prior to him rejoining Iron Maiden. The tour comes in support of Dickinson’s latest solo LP, The Mandrake Project. This LP was a follow up to Bruce’s 2005 project, Tyranny of Souls. In a press release, Dickinson mentioned, “We are thrilled to be able to take The Mandrake Project out for a proper tour of North America. Last year we did a couple of sold-out US West Coast dates before heading to South America and the response was just incredible. This time we will add ‘Shadow of the Gods’ to the setlist for this incredible band to perform plus a few other gems so we are really looking forward to seeing our fans again all over the country and for a couple of shows up in Canada.” The tour is set to take off on August 22nd in Anaheim California at House of Blues. The tour will continue with shows in other US cities and parts of Canada. From there, it will finish off in Los Angeles at The Wiltern on October 5th. The New York City show of the tour will be at Brooklyn Paramount on September 10th.
