Destroyer just announced a North American Tour, earlier this month. Destroyer is a Canadian indie rock band from Vancouver, formed in 1995. The band is fronted by founding member Dan Bejar, with a collective of regular band members and collaborators joining him in the studio and during live performances. Bejar is touring in support of his upcoming album, Dan’s Boogie, and also dropped a new song from the LP. The song has a video directed by John Collins, Bejar mentioned, ““There is a lightness that points to a future, even if I think it’s the heaviest thing I’ve ever written.” Prior to the North American leg of the tour, Destroyer will tour Europe from June 7th to June 14th. The tour is set to take off on September 24th at August Hall, and finish on October 25th at Crocodile in Seattle. The New York City show will be at Knockdown Center in Queens on October 11th.
