The American Indie rock band, Yeah Yeah Yeahs formed in NYC in 2000, is making a visit back home. The group is composed of vocalist and pianist Karen O, guitarist and keyboardist Nick Zinner, and drummer Brian Chase. The group has just announced that they will be setting off on a 2025 theater tour, with 11 shows on the schedule. Before the tour kicks off in the US, and will have a run in the UK and Mexico. Vice mentioned that the tour “will showcase the band’s catalog reimagined in a captivating new light, performing in intimate theater settings across both North America and the UK.” As per the supporting acts, it seems that those will be mentioned at a later date, while we know for sure that the sonic sound of their music will be accompanied by strings and piano. Once the band returns to the US, the tour will take off in Los Angeles at Orpheum Theatre from July 9th-11th. The tour will continue to hit spots in CA, TN, IL, and NY. The last two shows of the tour will be at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on July 29th and July 30th. Tickets to the Tuesday and Wednesday night shows are still on sale, and selling for as cheap as $129 USD.
