Japanese Breakfast is set to release a much anticipated new album, For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women) which is set to arrive in March. Starting in April, the group will go on tour to support the tour, following their Coachella performance. According to Brooklyn Vegan, they’ve added a few more dates to the show including shows in Brooklyn, Seattle, Madison, Bristol, and Utrecht. The tour is set to kick off on April 23rd in Austin at Moody Theater (ACL Live), after Coahcella. From there, the tour will continue, with stops in Europe, and circling back to California. The last California show at The Masonic on August 28th is sold out, as of right now. The last show planned for the trip will be at The Svylee in Madison on September 10th. Japanese Breakfast also plans on having 4 New York shows at Brooklyn Paramount on May 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th. Currently, the May 9th and 10th shows have also sold out. Although, tickets to the shows on the 11th and 12th are still on sale, and selling for as cheap as $70 USD. for General Admission.
