

The Weeknd just released his sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow. Along with the release of the album, he has announced a stadium tour in support of the record. The trek is said to feature special guests Playboi Carti and Mike Dean. The tour will take off in Phoenix, Arizona at State Farm Stadium on Friday May 9th. The new album is a 90 minute, 22 track album that features many artists. Some artists like Lana Del Ray, Travis Scott, Future, Florence + the Machine, and Playboi Carti. In an article with Variety, Abel said that he may be retiring the name and persona of the Weeknd after Hurry Up Tomorrow. For the tour, the Weeknd will partner with Global Citizen and donate $1from every ticket sold to children from vulnerable communities around the world. Also, fans will have an opportunity to earn a pair of free tickets to each tour date by taking action to end extreme poverty with Global Citizen. The fourth date of the tour is going to be at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on June 5th. Tickets to the Thursday night show are still on sale, and selling for as cheap as $206 USD.
