

Franz Ferdinand has released their first new album in seven years, The Human Fear. After the Scottish indie-rock band released the new record, they then announced both a North American and European tour to support the LP. The tour will begin in Lisbon, Portugal on February 14th. The tour will continue its long trek, and finish off the performances in Toronto on April 15th.According to Pitchfork, the new album is inspired by the thrill of danger that makes life so memorable. This is the bands sixth studio album, since they formed back in 2002. Franz Ferdinand has two New York shows planned for the tour. They’ll be playing at Brooklyn Paramount on April 10th, and then playing at the Paramount in Huntington on April 11th. Tickets to the NYC show in Brooklyn are still on sale, and selling for as cheap as $71 USD. for General Admission.
