Porter Weston Robinson, the American DJ and electronic music producer, is coming to New York this year. Robinson has decided to take off on a 70+ “SMILE! :D” world tour. The tour began after Robinson released his third and most recent studio album, SMILE. In 2023, he was at Coachella on the main stage and also has been at his very own Second Sky Festival. According to Pollstar, ‘ Opening acts for the North American leg include ericdoa, underscores in Europe and Gilileo Galilei in Japan.’ The trek began this past summer in Boston on August 29th with two nights at MGM Music Hall at Fenway. On November 27th, the Asian leg of the tour kicked off, with  dates in Seoul, Tokyo and more. This will continue through to February of 2025, finishing off in Fukuoka on Valentines Day. Not too soon after that, Robinson will head off to Europe on February 21st, starting his European leg in Berlin. Robinson has gone ahead and added an additional New York show to this tour, which will take place on Tuesday December 31st, New Years Eve, at Brooklyn Storehouse. Tickets are on sale on DICE and selling for as cheap as $112 USD.
