Atmosphere, the American hip-hop duo from Minneapolis is coming to New York. The duo consists of  rapper Slug and DJ/producer Ant. The 2025 ‘Imagine The Fun Tour’ is in reference to the bands’ fourth studio album,  You Can’t Imagine How Much Fun We’re Having. The pair will be joined by their old friends, Sage Francis and Mr. Dibbs while on tour in the new year. In an article from Broadway World, Francis mentioned  “The first time I toured with Atmosphere was 25 years ago which may have been the funnest time of my life. Eventually they dropped me off in a field and said, ‘You’re free now. You know, like, run free!’ And that was with a lot of the same crew who are being reunited on this 2025 tour, which is something I never expected and I’m very honored to be considered again. I just hope they don’t drop me off in a field again. But if they do, I will keep running.” When Slug reminisces on what touring used to be with the crew, he compares this tour to the last by saying that everyone is older, smarter, and eats healthier. He looks forward to seeing everyone everyday and sharing new recipes, compared to the chaos of the early 2000’s. The tour is set to take off on January 11th in Montana and will finish in California on May 23rd. Tickets to the tour went on sale on November 1st and are still selling. Tickets to the New York show at Brooklyn Bowl on February 10th are still on sale, and selling for as cheap as $48 for General Admission Standing.
