The American alternative rock band from Massachusetts is coming to New York this July. The band consists of Black Francis, Joey Santiago, Kim Deal and David Lovering. According to The New York Post, Black Francis will be heading out on a solo tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of his 1994 album Teenager Of The Year. The band is scheduled to have two concerts in each city they visit. It’s said that night one will probably consist of them playing hits from their classic 1990 album Bossanova and night two will include most of their greatest hits. The tour is set to take off on May 17th at the O2 academy in London, and finish off on August 1st in Minneapolis at the Palace Theatre. Meanwhile, Francis’ tour will begin on January 15th and end in New York at Brooklyn Steel on February 1st. Tickets to the July 15th and 16th show at Brooklyn Paramount are still on sale, and selling for as cheap as $79 USD. for General Admission.
