Jason Isbell, acclaimed singer, songwriter and actor is beginning his tour following the release of the newest album Weathervanes in 2023 and Live From The Ryman Vol. 2 at the beginning of Oct. 2024. Isbell will perform in Chicago at the Auditorium Theatre on Feb. 15, 2025.
Folk and southern rock artist, Jason Isbell started his career in the music industry in 2001 as a member of the band the Drive-by Truckers. He stayed with the band for six years until he left to pursue his solo career in 2007. He then formed his band Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit a year later in 2008.
He has also acted in several projects including The Killers Of The Flower Moon, Deadwood: The Movie, and the television series Squidbillies and Billions. His presence in the media is acknowledged and acclaimed. He has won six Grammys for his work in the music industry.
He has done a lot of work throughout his many bands. When he was with the Drive-by Truckers he participated in the release of 5 albums. In his work with The 400 Unit, he has participated in releasing 10 albums, one EP, and 20 singles. In his solo work, he has released 3 studio albums, 11 singles, and one EP.
He has done a plethora of work that has impacted the way we view Southern rock and the Americana genre of music. In celebration of Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit’s latest studio album, Weathervanes, the band will go on tour beginning on Nov. 1. 2024, in Florida.
