Iron Maiden began the North American leg of their ‘The Future Past World Tour’ last week on Oct. 4. They will take the stage here in Illinois on Oct. 24, 2024, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. They will be joined by the opener The Hu.
English heavy metal band, Iron Maiden had been monumental in the music scene since the 80s. The band currently consists of founder and bassist Steve Harris, lead vocalist Bruce Dickinson, drummer Nicko McBrain, and guitarists Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, and Janick Gers.
This band became instant phenomenons as they pioneered the new wave heavy metal genre in the UK. They released a series of albums every year from 1980-1988, putting them on the map in a big way.
Their discography is large and illustrious containing 41 albums including remastered works and 13 live albums, four EPs, and seven compilation albums. They have also released 47 singles, of which their newest was released in 2022, and 20 video albums. Alongside all of that, they have also curated and released two video games.
Iron Maiden is a revolutionary band in the heavy metal world. With their North American leg of ‘The Future Past World Tour’ beginning, there is much to look forward to in the upcoming months.
