Eivør will be performing at Thalia Hall on Feb. 16, 2025 in celebration of her newly released album Enn. Her tour begins this October in Europe and will make her way to Chicago this winter. She will be joined on stage by opener Sylvaine.
Danish singer/songwriter and actress Eivør began her music career when she was just 13 years old. She had her first televised performance in 1997 and just two years later became the lead singer of the band Clickhaze. A few years later, she released a re-recording of the 40 year anniversary album by DR Big Band.
She has had a long and plentiful career. She began as a solo artist in 2000 with the release of her self-titled album, Eivør Pálsdóttir. She has consistently been making music since that time and recently dropped her newest album, Enn(2024), in June of this year.
Altogether she has written, recorded and released 19 albums including the soundtrack for the TV show “The Last Kingdom”, 20 singles, and two EPs.
Eivør is considered one of the most prolific, unique, and extraordinary Nordic artists of her time. Her albums have explored many different genres including folk, pop, and even metal.
