Dave Matthews is celebrating the 30 year anniversary of their debut album by heading around the U.S and touring, this fall. They’re scheduled to play a handful of festivals, one of them being the Oceans Calling in Maryland. Their first performance will kick off in Pittsburgh on November 15th. The group originally formed in 1991 in Charlottesville, Virginia and have been inseparable ever since. They won a Grammy in 1997 for Best Rock Performance, for their performance of ‘So Much to Say’. Overall, the group has won six awards from 28 nominations. To this day, the band still consists of singer-songwriter and guitarist Dave Matthews, bassist Stefan Lessard, drummer and backing vocalist Carter Beauford, violinist and backing vocalist Boyd Tinsley, and saxophonist LeRoi Moore. Their most recent album, ‘Walk Around The Moon’ debuted on May 19th 2023 and had hit singles like “Monsters” and “Madman’s eyes”. Tickets to the show at the Garden are still on sale, and selling for as cheap as $123 USD.
