David Gilmour, English guitarist, singer, songwriter, and member of Pink Floyd, is coming to New York this November. On September 6th, Gilmour released Luck and Strange, his first new solo album since 2015. The artist is quite eager about this release and claims it to be the best album he’s made, since Dark Side of The Moon in 1973. David’s tour is set to kick off in Italy on September 27th. He’ll spend six nights in Rome, six nights in London, 3 nights in Los Angeles, and a final five nights in New York City. This is his first live tour for the first time in 8 years. When asked by Rolling Stone if he will perform any Pink Floyd favorites, he said, “One has to wake up to reality once in a while. I think I will be doing one or two things from that time, but it just seems so long ago.” Tickets to the 5-night leg at Madison Square Garden are still on sale, and selling for about $377 USD.
