Local H is set to play at Mercury Lounge on Tuesday September 24th

Local H is celebrating 20 years of their album, Whatever Happened to PJ Soles? According to Brooklyn Vegan, the band was supposed to tour with Helmet in September and October of this year, but the dates were canceled due to “lower than expected ticket sales”. The new and improved tour is coming while the band is anticipating their release of the deluxe edition of the Whatever Happened to PJ Soles? Album. The record is remastered from the original tapes, and is scheduled to be released on September 13th. The band’s front man, Scott Lucas stated, “I think it’s the best record we ever made. And I’m psyched that it’s finally on vinyl. Hopefully, Riff approves.” The U.S tour dates are set to commence on Sunday September 15th, after the release of their highly anticipated deluxe album on the 13th. Kicking off in Cleveland, Ohio mid September, and performing at few festivals along the journey, Local H will then close out their tour dates in Chicago on October 16th. Tickets to the Tuesday night show at Mercury Lounge are still on sale, and selling for $32.80 for a standard admission ticket.
