Ride at Union Transfer on December 7th

English rock/shoegaze band Ride is celebrating their newest release, their first in five years, with an international tour. Joined by up and coming Philadelphia-based shoegaze band Knifeplay, Ride will perform across the US and UK, performing at Union Transfer in Philadelphia on December 7th.

The band made their studio debut in 1990 with the release of their first album Nowhere which quickly put the band on the map as a group to look out for in the shoegaze scene, many critics considering Nowhere to be one of the best/most influential shoegaze works to date.

The band’s newest release, and what they will be performing on tour, is their seventh studio album titled Interplay, which was released in full in March of this year. The album has already been met with high praise from critics and fans, reaching number one on multiple international music charts.
