Suki Waterhouse is set to release her second studio album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, on Sep. 13. As well as that, she released two 6-song EP, just a few days ago on Aug. 1, 2024. The Sparklemuffin tour begins this month on Aug. 18, in London, and finds its way to Chicago on Dec. 18 at the Salt Shed.
Waterhouse began her career in the spotlight as a model at the age of 16. Not only that but she has been in several films and TV shows. She gained popular attention back in 2023 with the release of Daisy Jones and The Six with her role as “Karen”.
Her first major single “Good Looking” was released back in 2017, but didn’t gain major consideration until it went viral in 2022. Since then she has been all the buzz. She released her first studio album, I Can’t Let Go, in 2022.
She has released twelve singles, three EPS, one album, and another one on the way. Although this is more of an unconventional way to release music, she has still become a thing of the moment.
We get a taste of her new album, set to drop later this year, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, in her two new EPs, Blackout Drunk, and Supersad.
Her voice has a husky and rich quality that can easily be translated into a polished and airy sound. Much of her music is also enveloped in a sound that almost sounds like an echo.
Don’t miss her performance at the Salt Shed on Dec. 18, 2024, with opener Bully aka Debbii Dawson. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster ticketmaster.com or directly through her website. sukiwaterhouse.com.
