Superstar pop/R&B singer-songwriter Kehlani announced her newest tour earlier this week, the Crash World Tour, traveling internationally with the accompaniment of up and coming Atlanta-based rapper Anycia and 90s R&B inspired girl group FLO, who are releasing their debut studio album this year. Kehlani will be performing in over 20 cities in the U.S. alone, including at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey (Just a quick drive from Philadelphia!) on September 14th.
Kehlani began producing her own music in 2009. Her debut mixtape, Cloud 19, was a huge success commercially and was considered one of the best albums of 2014. The upcoming tour is in support of Kehlani’s newest release, her fourth studio album entitled CRASH, which came out in June. CRASH is an upbeat album full of dancy tracks that Kehlani herself described in an interview with Genius *link* as the “most free, most fun, most loud, most fueled” album she has ever made. Hits on the album include, but are not limited to, “After Hours,” “8”, and “Deep,” the latter of which features vocals from Kehlani’s daughter.
