Deicide At 1720 On Sept. 28

Deicide announced a summer and fall 2024 North American tour. The Banished By Sin tour includes a stop at the infamous Los Angeles venue 1720 on Saturday, September 28 with support from Krisiun, Inferi, and Cloak.

Florida death metal veterans Deicide will kick off their Banished By Sin North American trek starting September 5 in Atlanta, GA with a final stop on October 11 in their hometown of Tampa, FL. The 34-date tour includes stops in cities such as Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, Houston, and more. The tour is in support of Deicide’s new album, Banished By Sin, released on April 26 via Reigning Phoenix Music.

Deicide frontman Glen Benton said of the tour, “Hey all you Lunatics of God’s creation! Tell ’em I’m coming and hell’s coming with me!”

Deicide formed in 1987 in Tampa, Florida. The band’s current lineup consists of Steve Asheim, Glen Benton, Kevin Quirion, and Taylor Nordberg. The band rose to mainstream success in 1992 with their second album, Legion. Deicide has a total of 13 studio albums with the latest being Banished By Sin. The band is known for their lyricism that often touches on topics such as Satanism, anti-Christianity and blasphemy. The band has been banned from several venues due to such lyrical themes.
