Multi-talented DJ, producer, and singer Kaytranada just announced his anticipated Timeless Tour. Joined by fellow rapper and DJ Channel Tres (who is featured on Kaytranada’s latest album), as well as pop/R&B singer Amaarae, Kaytranada will travel around the world performing, coming to The Mann Center in Philadelphia on October 2nd.
Kaytranada’s impact on music has been expansive over the years, first gaining mass attention over 10 years ago for his boiler room set in Montreal, which blew up his remix of Teedra Moses’ “Be Your Girl.” His studio album debut 99.9% would receive extremely high acclaim, and continue the recurring theme throughout Kaytranada’s albums of being full of all-star features on nearly every track. His 2019 album BUBBA won two Grammy Awards, one for best dance/electronic album, and one for the single “10%” off of the album featuring Kali Uchis.
The upcoming tour is in support of Kaytranada’s 2024 album release of the same name, TIMELESS. The album has already received extremely positive feedback, and is full of fun, dancy tracks. The album contains features from over ten different artists, each instrumental being specifically produced by Kaytranada to match the artists style including, but not limited to, Childish Gambino on “Witchy,” PinkPantheress on “Snap My Finger,” and Don Toliver on “Feel A Way.”
