Anderson .Paak at The Mann on October 8th

Multi-talented musician, singer, and rapper Anderson .Paak is celebrating his album Malibu which was released in 2016 but never had a proper tour of its own… until now!! .Paak will be traveling the world and is coming to Philadelphia at The Mann Center on October 8th. 

.Paak made his studio debut in 2014 with the album Venice, also working as a drummer for other musicians (including Eminem at the 2022 Super Bowl Half Time Show). Outside of his solo work, .Paak also produces music with fellow musician/producer Knxwledge as the duo NxWorries, as well as with singer/musician Bruno Mars as the critically-adored Silk Sonic. 

NxWorries’s 2016 studio album debut, Yes Lawd!, Immediately drew in fans of .Paak and Knxwledge with smooth and catchy singles like “Suede,” and received high praise from critics; their most recent studio album release, Why Lawd?, released just last month. An Evening with Silk Sonic, .Paak and Mars’ debut (and currently only) studio album received extremely high acclaim, being considered one of the best albums of 2021, and receiving four Grammy Awards just for the single “Leave the Door Open” off of the album. 

As previously stated, on this tour, .Paak will be performing his most acclaimed work, his second studio album Malibu. The numerous hits off of this album including “Come Down” and “Heart Don’t Stand a Chance” brought .Paak talent into the mainstream, with nearly every music publication considering the album a standout of 2016.

.Paak will be supported by The Free Nationals, an R&B band that has backed .Paak’s performances many times, and the phenomenal trumpeter Maurice Brown, who has previously played for .Paak and Silk Sonic. Do not miss this soulful and talented group perform on the 8th! Tickets are available HERE.
