They Might Be Giants at Union Transfer on December 5th & 6th

Alternative rock duo They Might Be Giants (TMBG) is hitting the road for The Big Tour, coming to Union Transfer in Philadelphia for two nights, December 5th and 6th, and as the tour’s title implies, it is sure to be a very BIG night.

Formed in 1982, the duo quickly gained notoriety for their unique sound and musical talent. Their debut studio album, the self-titled They Might Be Giants, was released in 1984, and it successfully helped develop their fanbase, as well as catch the eye of many critics.

Their third studio album Flood would be their first charting hit, containing timeless singles like “Istanbul (Not Constantinople)” and “Birdhouse In Your Soul,” some of the duo’s most streamed work.  They would also find great success with the 2001 single “Boss of Me,” which would be used as the theme song for the incredibly popular sitcom Malcolm in the Middle.

Outside of their main discography, the duo has also done a lot of acclaimed work on children’s music, having produced albums of their own as well as for other productions, notably writing and producing the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song and working on the soundtrack for Spongebob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical

On tour, the duo will be performing largely songs off of Flood, their most popular album, as well other hits from their discography. Don’t miss this GIANT opportunity to see this iconic band live! Tickets are available HERE.
