Ringo Starr’s All-Starr Band are heading out for a tour this fall. The tour includes a stop at the Greek Theatre on Sunday, September 8.
The fall tour kicks off on September 7 in San Diego, CA and concludes on September 25 in New York City, NY. The 12-date tour includes stops at Starr’s favorite venues in cities such as Medford, Philadelphia, La Vista, and more. Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band features Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart and Gregg Bissonette.
Starr attended a special listening party at Amoeba Records in Hollywood back in April in conjunction with the release of his fifth EP, Crooked Boy, as a special limited edition marble vinyl. The icon is also teaming up with Fandiem for a contest to raise money for The Lotus Foundation. The winners of the contest will have a chance to meet Starr in Los Angeles at his Annual Peace and Love birthday celebration on July 7. Starr will also be accompanied by Paul McCartney and Joe Walsh.
Through Julien’s Auctions, Starr recently published his eighth book, “Beats & Threads.” Starr’s trend setting threads were as signature as the beat of his drums, and this book features over 200 images including never before seen photos and extensive details on his drums.
