Sabrina Carpenter at The Wells Fargo Center on October 8th

Famed pop singer and Pennsylvania local, Sabrina Carpenter, recently announced that she is taking to the road on her Short n’ Sweet tour, coming to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on October 8th.

Carpenter’s career launched in 2013, with the release of her debut single “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying.” In 2014, Carpenter was cast in a starring role in the Disney Channel original program Girl Meets World. She thereafter released all of her music under Disney’s label until 2021.

The 2023 release of her album Emails I Can’t Send would attract a new and much larger audience to Carpenter’s music. Soon following the album’s release, Carpenter was announced as an opener for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Also during this period, Carpenter released the hit single “Feather” as part of the deluxe edition of the album.

To prepare for the tour, fans should keep an eye out for Carpenter’s upcoming album, Short n’ Sweet. Carpenter released the debut single of the album, “Espresso”, in April, and it quickly gained viral attention, becoming Carpenter’s first-ever number-one charting single. Earlier this month, Carpenter released a second single titled “Please Please Please”, accompanied by a music video confirming her rumored relationship with actor Barry Keoghan. In the short time since its release, “Please Please Please” has received similar acclaim to “Espresso”, already finding its place on the charts.

Carpenter’s Philadelphia show will be opened by pop/afrobeat singer-songwriter Amaarae, who has found virality through many of her songs, including the singles “Angles in Tibet” and “Princess Going Digital” off of her most recent album Fountain Baby

This show is certain to be a fun, upbeat night that you do not want to miss. Tickets are available HERE
